  • Best to use large, firm cucumbers – they last longer!
  • Optional: Napkins (it can get juicy 🥒💦)

Tip: Refrigerator-cold cucumbers are crunchier and break easier – more tension!

How to prepare the game:

  1. Wash the cucumber – Hygiene is important!
  2. Players stand in a circle or sit around a table
  3. Determine the order – who goes first?
  4. Give the cucumber to the starting player

Gameplay

How a round of Cucumber Jenga works:

  1. Take the cucumber in your hand
  2. Bite off a piece – as big or small as you dare!
  3. Pass the cucumber to the next player
  4. The next player does the same

⚠️ Warning: With every bite, the cucumber gets thinner and more unstable!

Game Rules

The official Cucumber Jenga rules:

Basic Rules

  • Each player bites once and passes on
  • The cucumber cannot be put down between turns
  • Bitten-off pieces are eaten immediately
  • 5cm Rule: The last 5 cm (2 inches) of the cucumber must stay free – no biting there!

Who loses?

🥒💥 The cucumber breaks in your hand?

YOU lose! As punishment, you must eat the rest of the cucumber.

What counts as “breaking”?

  • The cucumber breaks into two pieces
  • A piece falls down while you’re biting
  • The cucumber is so short that there’s nothing left to pass on
